What a fantasic show, by midday Friday rodders were starting to arrive, this was looking good, just hope the weather holds :-) By Saturday morning camping area was full and we had to start rearranging where we were going to put everybody. Mitchville Autobodies then arrived with their Altered Dragster and Pro-Mod Camero which was closely followed by Mad'R's Slingshot Dragster and Laurie Craig's VW Beetle Funny car, we knew it was going to be a good weekend.

Saturday night everybody let their hair down and in usual Rod Run tradition with perhaps having a little too much to drink (is that possible)

Sunday morning, Sun was shining brightly and cars started arriving from 9am with Joe Public knocking on the door at 9:15 , from then on in it was just rods, rods and more rods. Mad'R's and Laurie did some demo fire-up's just to make sure nobody snoozed in the blazing Sun, thanks guys, best bit was watching the guy trying to hold the gazabo down when they blipped the throttle on the slingshot, he failed miserably :-)

By early afternoon there were over 200 cars on the show field, on stage resident DJ's Lee & Lesley were doing a great job keeping everybody entertained with extra help provided by Graham Okey a sort of Bluesy/Rock performer and Michelle Nunn a local 15 year old just back from X factor, absolutely amazing voice, one to look out for in the future.

We had a few dark clouds start to threaten us so prize giving was brought forward (see winners roll call opposite) but in the end there was no need as the Sun came back out.

Overall the show was deemed a 'Clucking Success'
