Invicta Roadsters was formed at the late end of 1991, its purpose was to join together everyone in the area who had a common interest in Street Rods & Customs.
Our aim is to promote Street Rodding in the local area, and to encourage new blood into the hobby at the same time destroying the myth that you can only own these types of vehicles if you have either, an open cheque book or own a body/paint shop.
During the course of the year we hold a number of functions for our members and public, ranging from our annual show ‘South East Custom & Classic’ to dances with live bands or discos where members are encouraged to dress up for the theme of the evening and as a result probably end up having just a little too much to drink.
We welcome new members who may not own modified cars but just have a strong interest in the hobby, especially if they can offer other club members a valuable service.
Invicta Roadsters are affiliated to the NASC (National Association of Street Clubs). This organisation is the largest in the UK that is solely dedicated to Rod & Custom Street Clubs. The NASC offers advice and help to its members when organising events and is also responsible for negotiating special insurance premiums
